• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

• Entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset.  

• Must be able to prioritize tasks and time with minimal supervision and work as an effective team member. 

• Valid driver’s license required and the ability to lift 25 lbs. 


The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, salaried position. The position is typically daytime hours but may be required for after-hour meetings and events as needed. Salary range for the position is $35,000- $40,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications. Fisher's Country Market is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative & Meat Wrapper to add to our team.


Store hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. This position is full-time Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays as needed.


Responsibilities include answering phone calls, greeting customers and preparing their orders, operating the slicer, and operating the cash register. Additional duties include wrapping meat packages, making patties, and trimming meat. Excellent communication and maintaining an organized and sterile workspace are a must. This job requires standing on your feet all day and having the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary: Executes a variety of receptionist/clerical duties under the direction of the Huron County Treasurer. This position will support the office by communications with the public, processing real estate and manufactured home taxes, daily balancing, processing pay ins and other general office duties.

Required Education and Experience: High school graduate/GED.


Equipment Operation: All office equipment, including, but not limited to, computers, keyboards, telephone system equipment, copiers, scanners, and facsimile machines.


Work Environment: Most work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. The job requires sitting (sometimes for long periods), standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting (20 pounds). Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Treasurer, Norwalk City School District, and bear the name and address of the bidder and be clearly marked “BID” on the outside of the envelope. 


Bids may be hand-delivered, at the place specified above, on or before the hour named. NCSD will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded by mail and no bid will be accepted after the hour specified. Consideration of the bid may be reserved for a period of thirty (30) days before award of contracts are made. 


The Norwalk City Schools, Board of Education reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities as to changes, alterations, or reservations, and to award the bid on the basis of the lowest or most responsive bid as it deems to be in the best interest of the Norwalk City School District. This notice will be posted on the board of education's internet website at:


Norwalk City School District staff expect to recommend acceptance of the preferred bid to the NCSD Board of Education on May 8, 2024. If the bid is accepted, the NCSD would be able to proceed with executing a purchase order agreement shortly thereafter.
